At the heart of nesto is a patented external handle system that allows each pot to stack cleanly inside the next—without sacrificing full cooking volume or proper lid fit. Because the handle attaches outside the pot, it stays clean and cool, and the lids require no cutouts, resulting in a cleaner, more controlled cooking experience.

The intelligently designed glass lids feature a directional steam vent, allowing steam to be guided away from the user—particularly valuable for kitchens with downdraft ventilation. During cooking, lids can be rested directly on the attached handle, allowing condensation to run back into the pot instead of onto the countertop.

Crafted from premium 18/10 stainless steel with an extra-thick encapsulated aluminum base, the Foundation Set delivers fast, even heat distribution on all cooktops, including induction. The pots are robust, beautifully finished, and designed to move effortlessly from stovetop to oven (up to 260 °C / 500 °F without handles).

The patented handle system is engineered for easy, one-handed attachment and release and exceeds German standards for cookware handle strength, supporting loads of up to 15 kg. The included magnetic trivet attaches securely to the base of the pot, allowing it to be lifted from the cooktop, set down, and carried directly to the table with one hand—presenting an award-winning, beautifully designed pot without interruption.
