About Us
German Engineering, Family-Led Innovation
nesto is designed by Cookvision, a family-owned German company with over 30 years of experience developing innovative cooking systems.
Cookvision is owned by the Rommerskirchen family and is part of the B/R/K Group. For decades, the company has focused on rethinking how cookware works as a system—developing patented solutions that improve performance, usability, and order in the kitchen. Over the years, Cookvision has registered numerous patents and received multiple international kitchen innovation awards.
Until recently, Cookvision worked almost exclusively behind the scenes, developing and producing cookware systems for some of the most well-known brands in the industry. With nesto, they chose a different path—bringing their most considered ideas to market under their own name for the first time.

Thoughtfully Introduced for Canadian Living
nesto is proudly introduced to Canada by Cookvision Canada, led by Sian Roberts and Kevin Dunal.
Based in Toronto, cookvision.ca was established to bring nesto to Canadian kitchens, boats, RVs, and urban living spaces—where thoughtful design, performance, and space efficiency truly matter. Having lived and worked internationally, Sian and Kevin bring a proven track record of leading and managing Fortune 500 brands and organizations.
Coupled with a shared passion for quality, innovation, and good design, nesto is a natural fit. Add to this a lifetime of sailing and significant time spent living aboard a historic Dutch barge in Europe, Sian and Kevin understand firsthand the value of cookware that delivers professional performance while storing compactly and intelligently.
Their role goes beyond distribution. Working closely with Cookvision in Germany, they ensure nesto is thoughtfully presented, well supported, and carefully evolved for how people actually cook and live in Canada—from urban condos to boats, RVs, and design-conscious homes.
Their connection to nesto began not in a showroom, but while living and cooking aboard a boat.

A Discovery Made Afloat
While outfitting Muzen, our historic Dutch barge, we were searching for cookware that could deliver true cooking performance in a compact, mobile space. Storage mattered. Stability mattered. Clean workflows mattered. Very little met the bar.
That’s when we discovered nesto.
After living with the system aboard Muzen for over a year—cooking daily, storing it in tight spaces, and relying on it underway—we realized this wasn’t just well-designed cookware. It fundamentally changed how we cooked and lived with our kitchen.
It became clear that North America needed this product—not only for boats and RVs, but for urban kitchens and anyone who values intelligent design, professional performance, and calm order.

A Shared Philosophy
At its core, nesto reflects a shared belief held by both Cookvision in Germany and Cookvision Canada: that fewer, better things lead to better everyday experiences.
Rather than adding more pieces, nesto is designed as a coherent system—where each component earns its place, works beautifully with the others, and lasts for decades. The result is cookware that reduces clutter, simplifies decisions, and brings a sense of calm and order to the kitchen.
This philosophy shapes everything about nesto—from engineering and materials to how it is used, stored, and lived with over time.
